The Australian parliament passed a law to crack down on violent content on social media regardless of the furious reactions coming from media, tech industry & legal experts. Tech giants expressed opposite concern that it may criminalize anyone in their company if they fail to remove violent material. This bill was passed in the wake of Christchurch attacks to remove violence like terrorist acts, murders, torture, rape or kidnap.
