Australia secures 'promising' COVID-19 vaccine, will offer it for free

In a bid to exit the COVID-19 pandemic for good, Australia has secured access to a "promising vaccine." The country's Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced a landmark agreement under which they will procure/manufacture the shot in question, and distribute it to the Australian public for free. The initial agreement with AstraZeneca will cover the development, production, and distribution of the candidate vaccine.
