Australia to close its embassy in Afghanistan fearing attack after withdrawal of foreign troops

As US is set to completely withdraw its troops from Afghanistan by September this year, the Australian government has decided to close its embassy in Kabul. Australia cited an "increasingly uncertain security environment" as the reason behind this decision. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the embassy will be closed in three days "in light of the imminent international military withdrawal from Afghanistan".
