Supreme Court today gave its verdict in the extremely sensitive and disputed Ayodhya case after 40 long days of hearing. The 5-judge bench of the apex court headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi gave its verdict in the favour of the Ram Janmabhoomi nyas while alloting 5-acre of land for the Mosque construction. This was the second-longest proceedings in the history of the Supreme Court after the landmark Keshvanand Bharti case in 1973.
