Ban imposed after deadly blasts on social media in Sri Lanka lifted

After the 8 deadly blasts in Sri Lanka on Easter Day the ban was imposed on the use of social media in the country by the government, which has now been lifted. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena directed the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission to lift the temporary ban. The authorities have asked the public to act responsibly now after the ban has been lifted.
