ED attaches Chimpanzees & Marmosets under PMLA

For the first time, the ED has attached chimpanzees and marmosets under the PMLA, as a part of money laundering probe against a wildlife smuggler of West Bengal. The ED issued a provisional attachment order in respect of 3 chimpanzees and 4 marmosets. The value of each Chimpanzees is Rs 25 lakh & Marmosets is Rs 1.5 lakh; the total value of attached wildlife animal is said to be nearly Rs 81 lakh.
