Bengal man gets furious after his voter ID carries dog’s photo, plans to sue EC

North Bengal resident Sunil Karmakar received his ‘corrected’ voters ID card but instead of his own visage, he found a photo of a dog in his Aadhar card. Karmarkar has decided to file a defamation suit against the Election Commission of India (ECI). He has an opinion that the error was intentional and intended to humiliate him in public. He will be given a new voter ID card in April. Meanwhile, the government will investigate.
