Bengaluru under 33 hour long lockdown after surge in coronavirus cases
The Karnataka government has imposed a 33-hour long lockdown in Bengaluru in the view of the spike in coronavirus cases. Bengaluru and its adjoining areas will be under lockdown starting 8pm on Saturday till 5am on Monday. The instruction for lockdown in BBMP limits was issued by chief minister BS Yediyurappa. However, “the sale of essential items will be allowed during the lockdown, including meat."
