Random coronavirus tests on patients with severe respiratory diseases is showing that more and more people with no travel are contracting the virus. This has sparked the fears of community transmission and is contradicting the earlier stance of ICMR, as per which, there was no sign of community transmission. As per the ICMR data, 38% of such patients, who later tested positive for the virus, had no history of travel.
