Rajasthan Government to ban male teachers below 50 years in girls schools

In what could be called a "regressive", "immature" and "bizarre" step, the Rajasthan government is planning to ban male teachers below 50 years of age from government girls' schools in a bid to prevent eve-teasing. The state Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra has decided to recall male teachers aged below 50 years from all government girls schools. Dotasra said on Friday that priorities will be given to field women teachers.
