'I Basically Lied To Regulators': Boeing pilot knew about problems with 737 Max in 2016

The 737 MAX’s ex-chief technical pilot, Mark Forkner admitted that he knew about the fault in MCAS anti-stall system that was later connected to crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia that together killed 346 people. A series of internal messages from 2016 were leaked om Friday in which Forkner said, “I basically lied to the regulators." The simulator was not reading right and had to be fixed to fly like the real plane.
