Bombay High Court grants bail to Varavara Rao in Bhima Koregaon Case

Varavara Rao, a key accused in the Bhima-Koregaon case, has received bail for six months by the Bombay High Court. The 81-year-old activist has been in jail for more than 2 years. Rao has got bail on medical grounds and is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. The court has directed Rao to remain in Mumbai and be available for investigation whenever needed. He has also been asked to submit his passport.
