Botswana claims to have found world's 'third largest' diamond

A 1,098-carat diamond has been unearthed by a Botswanan diamond firm named Debswana. The firm claims that the stone unearthed by it is the third-largest diamond in the world. The diamond that was unearthed on June 1, was presented to President Mokgweetsi Masisi two weeks later and has been put on display. The claim by the firm that it is the third-largest diamond in the world is yet to be verified.
