Breast cancer awareness low in Indian rural areas

Many women in the rural areas of India is not aware of breast cancer or what are the risks they can face because of it, according to a study. Early detection is crucial for breast cancer treatment and according to the study, most women have no knowledge about examining their breasts. Poverty, illiteracy and superstitions are some of the reasons many women are delaying their breast cancer treatment.
