Britain advises its citizens to leave Myanmar amid emergency

As the situation continues to deteriorate in Myanmar amid the crackdown against pro-democracy protestors after the military-led coup, Britain has advised its citizens to leave the country. "The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office advises British nationals to leave the country by commercial means, unless there is an urgent need to stay," the country's foreign ministry said in a statement related to travel.
