CAA: In Karnataka 2 people killed, hundreds detained as violent protests spread across India

A large number of students, activists and others were brutally treated resulting in violence in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. Two people were killed in Mangalore during police firing and hundreds of them were detained. Curfew was imposed in the region. Rail and road traffic were hit in several states including Bihar and other states. Metro in the capital and internet services were also withheld in some parts of the country.
