A bout of winter storms in northern California left behind “thousands” of pink, throbbing, phallic creatures wound up pulsating along a beach about 50 miles north of San Francisco. According to the reports, these are marine worms called fat innkeeper worms but they are commonly called 'penis fish' due to their appearance. The worms normally burrow under the sand but they were carved out due to the storms.
