California sues billionaire venture capitalist Vinod Khosla for denying public access to the beach

California has sued Vinod Khosla, a billionaire venture capitalist, over denying public access to a beach next to his property in San Mateo County. Khosla whose net worth is $2 billion, bought land surrounding Martins beach in 2008 for $32 million. The beaches in California are public land under the California Coastal Act. The state of California said that he improperly and illegally restricted entry to the beach.
