California's Competition: World's Ugliest Dog goes to Scamp the Tramp

A bug-eyed dog 'Scamp the Tramp' won the 31st annual California's 'World's Ugliest Dog' contest. California holds the contest to highlight the plight of rescue dogs and bring attention to their needs. Most of the competitors were rescued from kill shelters or found abandoned or seized from breeders. Owner of Scamp won $1,500 in cash, $1,500 to donate to an animal shelter & a trophy. The owner says he is Scamp the Champ now.
