Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that the Pope should come to Canada and issue an apology for the role of the Catholic church in running residential schools for indigenous children after the discovery of over 1,000 bodies in two mass graves. Trudeau said he has personally spoken to "His Holiness Pope Francis" to make him understand the necessity of apologizing to indigenous Canadians.
