Canadian Privacy Regulators say Facebook broke privacy laws

Privacy regulators in Canada found that FB broke local privacy laws by mishandling user data, they would take the social media giant to court to force it to change how it protects consumer privacy. They said FB's privacy framework was empty & terms were too elastic that was not meaningful for privacy protection. FB didn't get users to consent to share data with 3rd party app & its refusal to act responsibly is deeply troubling.
