The captain of the burnt MV X-Press Pearl container ship which caught fire on the outskirts of the Colombo Port on May 20, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department of Sri Lanka. The captain was arrested from a hotel in the capital Colombo, said Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana. According to the police, the captain and other crew members will be produced before a local High Court.
