Case registered against 10,000 Unnamed AMU Students in connection with December 15 violence

The Uttar Pradesh Police has registered a case against 10,000 unidentified students of Aligarh Muslim University for violence which broke out during protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act on December 15. The University was closed till January 5 after hundreds of students indulged in a brawl with the cops outside the gate of the varsity. The police had to lathi-charge on the violent protestors to disperse the mob.
