CBI conducts raids at multiple locations in UP in connection with Gomti river front development scam

The Central Bureau of Investigation officials are raiding multiple locations across Uttar Pradesh in connection with alleged irregularities in the Rs. 1,600 crore Gomti riverfront development project. The raids are being conducted in Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Agra. The raids were conducted in connection with a case by CBI against public servants and unknown people over the irregularities in the project led by ex-CM Akhilesh Yadav.
