CBI files case against Cambridge Analytica for harvesting personal data of 5.62 lakh Indian Facebook users

UK-based political consulting firm Cambridge Analytica has been booked by the Central Bureau of Investigation for illegally harvesting personal data of 5.62 lakh Indian Facebook users. Another agency named Global Science Research has been booked by the central probe agency in connection with the same case. Facebook had accused GSRL of illegally collecting personal data of nearly 5.62 lakh users in India.
