Central govt clerk in Kolkata amassed Rs 1.7 crore, ED attached his properties

The Enforcement Directorate has attached the assets worth Rs 1.7 crore belonging to a govt employee working as clerk with the Central Government Health Scheme in Kolkata. According to the officials, properties worth Rs 2.7 crores of accused Snehasish Kar and his family have been attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. He was not withdrawing money from his salary account for several months.
