Centre builds 1858 roads of 11,517 km length, 84 bridges in J&K under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana

The Ministry of Rural Development said that the Centre has so far completed 1858 roads of length 11,517 km and 84 bridges in J&K under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) which is a flagship program of the Central Government for providing connectivity to unconnected habitations, based on census 2001. In the UTs of J&K and Ladakh, all unconnected habitations of the population above 250, are eligible under the program.
