Centre conducts a pan-India survey to measure how we spend our time

A first of it's kind pan-India survey has been carried out by the National Sample Survey Office since Jan 2019, to measure how we spend our time. The ministry of statistics conducted the survey in 2 categories- paid and unpaid activity. The survey will collect data on time spent in unpaid jobs such as volunteer work, domestic and household work. It is carried out on all states for the first time.
