Centre denies using Pegasus for snooping, to set up committee to examine the issue

The centre has filed an affidavit on the Pegasus row in the Supreme Court while rejecting the claim that it used the Pegasus software to snoop on opposition leaders and key officials. The centre has decided to set up a committee of experts to examine the issue of alleged snooping, "to dispel any wrong narrative spread by certain vested interests." The apex court is hearing several petitions demanding a probe into the Pegasus row.
