The Congress-led Chhattisgarh has moved Supreme Court against the National Investigation Agency Act that was hurriedly drafted by the previous Congress-led UPA after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The state government has challenged the validity of the act. The Act provides for a national-level agency to investigate and prosecute offences listed in a schedule and also facilitates the creation of Special Courts.
