China lifts hold, Masood Azhar designated as a global terrorist by UNSC

After holding the proposal for 4 times in the last 10 years, China finally lift its hold on the proposal to blacklist Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist in UN sanctions list. It is a huge diplomatic win for India as China had put a hold in March on a fresh proposal by the US, UK and France to impose a ban after deadly Pulwama terror attack. The decision means Azhar's finances, assets will be frozen.
