China releases survey to reassert claims on Diaoyu islands

Amid the rising tensions with Tokyo, China has released a landscape survey of the Diaoyu Islands, known as the Senkakus in Japan, to reassert its claims on the island. China's Ministry of Natural Resources released the survey on Monday that covered the main island and two smaller nearby islets. The islands are currently under the control of Japan and are known as the Senkaku islands. Japan is yet to respond to the claim.
