The Indian foreign ministry put the onus on the Chinese side for the de-escalation along the Line of Actual Control amid the ongoing tensions while saying that Beijing "should sincerely work with the Indian side for complete disengagement at the earliest from all friction areas". External affairs ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said both sides should refrain from any actions that may lead to an escalation in the situation.
