The 40-square-meter home is now in the midst of a two-lane road. Ms Liang was given 2 flats in exchange but she refused and requested the government provide her with 4 units. The highway was eventually completed, and a motorway bridge was built around the home. This is the Chinese equivalent of the UK home in the centre of the M62.
