Chinese citizen journalist could be jailed for 5 years for reporting Covid outbreak in Wuhan

Zhang Zhan, a former lawyer and a Chinese citizen journalist is facing trial for her livestream reporting from Wuhan amid the Covid-19 outbreak. Zhan was held in May and could face up to five years in jail if convicted of "picking quarrels and provoking trouble" for her reporting in the initial days of the outbreak. 37-year-old Zhan began a hunger strike in June and was later force-fed via a nasal tube.
