Chinese manned vessel to explore Earth's deepest ocean trench
China has sent a manned vessel into the planet's deepest ocean trench with 3 people on board. China live-streamed the footage of the vessel named "Fendouzhe", or "Striver" parked at the bottom of the ocean. The vessel earlier set a national record of 10,909 metres for manned deep-sea diving. The vessel is equipped with robotic arms to collect biological samples and also has sonar "eyes" to analyze sound waves.
