CJI willing to fast-track the proceedings of Ayodhya case, Sets October 18 as the deadline for the conclusion

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi widened the possibilities of a verdict by setting October 18 as a deadline for the conclusion of Ayodhya case. The Chief Justice consulted the lawyers from both sides before taking the decision. The CJI retires on the 17th of November, hence he is willing to give a verdict before his retirement. He said that he is willing to work extra hours and even on Saturdays to finish the proceedings.
