According to a UN report, the changing climatic trends are increasing global hunger, causing degrees to problematic levels. Floods and droughts have raised the number of hunger afflicted people to 821 million last year. The report also revealed that humanitarian aid was the sole food provision for around 100 million people in 2017. The extreme climate has worried international agencies as it will worsen the crisis.
