Closure of Pak's airspace cost Air India Rs 300 crore since Feb

Following the Pulwama suicide bombing in J&K on February 14, Pakistan announced general closure of its airspace on February 27 which affected hundreds of passengers across the globe but also several airlines around the globe. Air India was worst hit as it suffered around Rs 300 crore loss since late February as its long haul flights from New Delhi are taking longer to reach destinations in Europe, the Gulf, and the US.
