CM Shivraj Chouhan says MP government will deposit Rs.1000 in migrant labourers' accounts amid lockdown

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday announced that Rs 1,000 would be credited in the accounts of the migrant labourers who are stranded in other states, amid the nationwide lockdown enforced to contain the spread of COVID-19. The step has been taken to reduce the risk of mass exodus that has happened in Maharashtra and Delhi and to eradicate the panic and insecurity from labourers' minds.
