CMR Report: 4 out of 5 smartphone brands sell their handsets below their average price

According to CMR India Mobile Pricing Index 2018, 4 of 5 brands sell their smartphones below the average price of smartphones in India. In a hyper-competitive smartphone market, consumers are more demanding than before & seek more from their smartphone than before. India & China contributed the most to the below industry average, whereas every 3 out of 5 brands in above ASV segment were global brands.
