Hyderabad college bans shorts, claims long kurtis will fetch good marriage proposals
Hyderabad's St Francis College for Women reportedly banned shorts, sleeveless and other similar dresses in the campus and ordered students to wear kurtis below knee length with sleeves. The new dress code came into effect from August 1. Many students termed the diktat as regressive, backward and outdated. Former student claimed that college told students that a long kurti would get us good marriage proposals.
