Combined wealth of world’s 22 wealthiest men is more than the wealth of all women in Africa

Ahead of the World Economic Forum in Davos, a report has revealed that the combined wealth of the world’s 22 richest men is more than the combined wealth of 325 million women in Africa. Ageing populations, cuts in public spending and the climate crisis are aggravating the gender economic inequality. In spite of increasing awareness, the world leaders’ policies seem to be in favor of the rich and hurt the poor.
