The first Chief of Defence Staff of India, General Bipin Rawat has taken his first major decision after donning the new uniform. The General has directed the officials to prepare a roadmap by June 30 to create an air defence command to enhance security of India's skies. He emphasized on making efforts to cut out infructuous ceremonial activities which are manpower intensive. CDS will ensure optimum utilisation of the budget.
