Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said while speaking about the Comilla incident, in which the minority Hindu community was targeted and several temples and Durga Puja pandals were attacked, that the attacks appeared to be instigated by vested groups. "It appears to us that it was a motivated act instigated by a vested group," Khan said. Over 80 locations associated with the Hindu community were attacked in Comilla.
