Coronavirus: 229 out of 529 samples of Indians stranded in Iran tested negative

External Affairs Minister today said that the initial focus will be to bring back Indian pilgrims who are mostly stranded in coronavirus-hit Qom in Iran. It is worth noting that 229 out of 529 samples of Indians stranded in Iran have tested negative for coronavirus. He also said that 6,000 Indians are currently stranded in Iran. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said there are 15 labs set up in parts of the country for testing.
