The Ministry of health issued a notice clarifying that it has come to the government's notice that Bengaluru based Bione Ventures has made single-use finger-prick diagnostic kits for coronavirus, claiming to give results in 5-10 minutes. The Ministry of Health has clarified that the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization has not licensed the kit. This is not the first instance when an unlicensed kit has come in market.
