The Election Commissioners at the Election commission have decided to take a one-third salary cut for a year amid the coronavirus outbreak to help the government in fighting the pandemic. The decision was taken at a meeting held between chief election commissioner Sushil Arora and election commissioners Ashok Lavasa and Sushil Chandra. Sushil Chandra told the media that it was a voluntary and unanimous decision.
