According to some reports, the strains of coronavirus were found in the sputum and faeces of some patients even after they recovered from the virus after getting infected. Another report suggested that middle-aged people, and not just the elderly, have a dramatically higher risk of dying or developing serious illness from COVID-19. As of now, more than 1300 cases of coronavirus have been reported in India.
