The total count of positive cases of the novel coronavirus rose to 1637 in India. The death toll rose to 37. Uttar Pradesh reported its first death as a 25-year-old man from Basti died at BRD Hospital. Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced further measures for dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic which include extension of realization period of export proceeds, review of limits of way & means advances of States/UT.
